Established in 1956 by Clayton Eugene Cummins, our office was located in the country on Twin Hills Drive. A few years later, Eugene moved the company to the city limits of Zanesville into a two story house. The agency is still at this location today.

Eugene owned and operated the business from 1956 until he passed in 1982. The office name during these years was “Eugene Cummins Insurance.” Eugene’s son, Michael Eugene Cummins, worked alongside his father in the business since 1980. Mike took over ownership and in 1989 the old two story building was demolished and a new facility was constructed.

The business was incorporated and the name changed to Michael E. Cummins Insurance, Inc. Michael ran the business from 1982 until he passed in 2010. 
Michael’s son, Clayton Michael Cummins, worked beside his father in the business since 2008 and Michael’s wife Kellie joined the agency after Michael passed in 2010. Michael’s older daughter Kaleigh Cummins started in 2012.
